Living through a series of transformational events can be hard enough; oftentimes, writing about them can seem equally challenging. How do you do it?

Here, with bestselling author, editor, teacher and memoir ghostwriter Jacqueline Burt Cote.

In this workshop, you will learn how to give shape and structure to your story, so that you can turn it into a narrative for readers. You will better understand scenes, setting, voice, narrative arc and more. You will explore different techniques used in various memoirs, all the while creating and workshopping your stories each week. The goal of this group is to provide you with tools to create and refine memoir material.

Jacque’s personal essays and other writings have been published in print and online in Salon, the Huffington Post, Parents, Parenting, American Baby, Bon Appetit, Details,, The Stir and many others. She is an editor and regular contributor to and has appeared on Anderson Cooper 360, Good Morning America, HuffPost Live and more.
