Poet Elizabeth Onusko Joins The Studio’s Faculty

We are thrilled to announce that Elizabeth Onusko, an extraordiary poet and teacher, has joined the faculty at the Fairfield County Writers’ Studio.

She will teach Poetry Writing Workshop, Level Two, which is for experienced poets who have published or are preparing work for publication, and are hoping to gain insight into their poems and process.

Elizabeth is the author of Portrait of the Future with Trapdoor, which received the 2015 Bryant-Lisembee Book Prize (Red Paint Hill, 2016). Her poems have recently appeared or are forthcoming in The SunBennington ReviewColumbia Poetry ReviewThe Southeast ReviewPoetry NorthwestThe Believer, and Washington Square Review, among others. Elizabeth holds an MFA in Poetry from Sarah Lawrence College and an MA in English with a Writing Concentration from Fordham University.

She has co-founded two magazines, Guernica and Foundry, and currently edits the latter.
