Helping Writers to Rise and Thrive

Podcasting 101

Saturday, March 18
Ben Bogardus
9:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m., $75. Register soon as attendance is limited.

Podcasting is one of the fastest-growing methods of storytelling. Whether you want to share your creative writing, publish your works of journalism, or just speak to a world-wide audience on a subject you’re passionate about, we’ll show you how to put together a podcast from start to finish. All you need to make one is a laptop, a smartphone and free tools available over the internet. If you bring all three to the workshop, you can learn all about it and then do a hands-on practice right in The Studio!

It will be helpful if you install the “Audacity” audio editing program prior to the workshop. Audacity is a free download for PC and Mac, available here: http://www.audacityteam.org/download/

Instructor Ben Bogardus is a producer, professor and media meister with a host of professional awards including an Emmy and a national Edward R. Murrow award. He’s also a fun guy and engaging teacher. Learn more about him at http://benbogardus.com/
