Helping Writers to Rise and Thrive

Level Up! Harnessing Revision with Heather Webb

June 26, 27, 28, 29; 9:30 a.m. to noon EST. (Available in person or online.)
Heather Webb
$325, four days, limited to 7 students

In this one-week intensive master class, bestselling author and teacher Heather Webb helps you elevate your story or manuscript to new heights. First, assess where your story/manuscript stands (from a kind, wise professional’s perspective). Then, in work sessions each day, learn how to transform characters from decent to dynamic; openings from ho-hum to humming; structure, style and voice from average to awesome.

You will be encouraged to share pages and to give and get feedback. You will get what you need to heat up your writing and revising over the summer!

Heather Webb’s essay Leveling Up: How to Harness Revision to Make the Good Even Better was published by Writer’s Digest in the craft collection Author in Progress.

Heather is the USA Today bestselling and award-winning author of nine historical novels, including “Strangers in the Night,” “The Next Ship Home,” and the up and coming “Queens of London,” about an all-female gang in 1925 London led by the notorious Diamond Annie and the Forty Elephants. Heather’s “Rodin’s Lover” was a Goodread’s Top Pick, and “Last Christmas in Paris” won the Women’s Fiction Writers Association STAR Award. Heather’s books have been translated into 17 languages.

Heather’s short story “Hour of the Bells” appears in the anthology “Fall of Poppies: Stories of Love and the Great War,” published by HarperCollins.

This workshop takes place In person for the fully vaccinated, on Zoom otherwise.
