Helping Writers to Rise and Thrive

Intermediate/Advanced Fantasy, Sci-Fi and Horror

Sundays, 7-9 p.m. EST, Starts January 9, 2022
Nina Kiriki Hoffman
Seven weeks, $385 (Limited to six students.)

This workshop happens LIVE on Zoom.

Under the tutelage of our amazing writer and instructor, the Stoker- and Nebula-Award winner Nina Kiriki Hoffman, writers in this fun and interactive workshop will move forward with a piece of science fiction, fantasy, or horror, and generate new work. Get feedback on your writing from Nina and your peers; continue to develop characters, worlds, and plot elements; and create, revise, edit and strengthen your work.

Note: You must have the instructor’s approval prior to joining this class, or have already taken Nina’s intro class. (Genre writers new to the table are welcome to enroll in Intro to Writing Fantasy, Science Fiction and Horror, here.)

Nina Kiriki Hoffman’s novels and young adult novels have been published by Avon, Ace, Atheneum, Pocket, Gold Key and Viking, and she has sold more than 350 short stories to magazines and anthologies. Nina won the Stoker Award from the Horror Writers of America for her novel The Thread that Binds the Bone, and the Nebula Award from the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America for her short story “Trophy Wives.”
