Helping Writers to Rise and Thrive

Exciting News! FCWritersStudio (FCWS) Partners with Westport Library to offer WestportWRITES

We are honored to announce that the Fairfield County Writers’ Studio has been named as the creative partner for the Westport Library’s brand-new WestportWRITES initiative.

WestportWRITES is a comprehensive and free program designed to guide writers through all stages of publishing and to offer year-long support of National Novel Writing Month entries. Whatever your need, there will be an event to help you!

Look for WestportWRITES programming every month leading up to the Westport Library Author Fair on May 13 (when authors will share their books and how they got published), and the Westport Library Writers’ Conference (when you can pitch your book to agents) on June 10 2017.

To stay informed as events are announced, please sign up for our newsletter on the home page. We look forward to meeting you and helping you write, get published and build your writing career!

(Please note: delighted to say that many writers have enjoyed our events so far! Let us know if you’d like to see a particular topic covered and we’ll do our very best to accommodate you.)
