Writing About Your Life: Motherhood

  • Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 11:30. Begins January 9, 2020
  • Jacqueline Burt Cote
  • Seven weeks, $299 (Limited to six students)

Motherhood is one of the most creatively inspiring times in a woman’s life — as well as one of the most challenging and transformative. This workshop will help you identify and strengthen your unique voice as a mother, and to write your stories from there.

In this 90-minute workshop — perfect for busy moms — we’ll use your experiences as a catalyst for storytelling, from funny parenting moments to the more profound pieces that come with raising children and being a mother. We will review strategies for finding time to write in a busy schedule, and cover the process of writing and pitching to parenting magazines, blogs and websites.

Works-in-progress are welcome but not required.
