Do you have the desire to write? Do you have a story you want – or need – to tell? Ideas for a poem or short story or other work of fiction or non-fiction? Stories you’d like to bring to fruition?

If so, sign up for Wednesday mornings of direction, encouragement and conversation with other new and emerging writers, led by seasoned instructor and critically acclaimed novelist E.V. Legters.

This workshop will help take your impulse to write to the next level in a safe, nurturing atmosphere. We will examine elements of fiction, creative non-fiction and poetry to encourage the discovery of your own voice and skills, and experiment with writing exercises from across the genres that are fun, freeing and productive. This is a hands-on class, and each participant will have frequent opportunities to share their work.

Appropriate for beginners and advanced beginners.

E.V. Legters’ novel, Connected Underneath, was published in April, 2016. Her next novel,  Vanishing Point, will be released in May, 2017. She holds an MFA in writing from Vermont College and has taught writing – fiction, non-fiction, poetry and drama – publicly and privately for more than 10 years.
